The new universal controllers by 42 CONTROLS®
These controllers are flexible and freely configureable Panels and Consoles for all kinds of jobs which do not allow the use of touch screens and/or software applications for reasons of security, comfort and speed.
S.P.O.C. Console - Single Point of control
The 42 CONTROLS® S.P.O.C., presented by Videlco Europe Limited, is available as a 19" unit or as a fully-fledged console. The OLED buttons' 64x32 Pixel back-illuminated LCDs are able to show the current context. 10.000 different colors let you mark important functions very clearly.
The standard version comes with ethernet port to control all network devices. As an option you can get RS232, RS422, RS485, DMX, and more professional ports like CAN, ProfiBus etc. Due to the fact in most cases the controller is far away from the devices you can control this through BridgeBoxes wich have an ethernet connection and the proprietary port. So you can communicate directly over ethernet.
Apart from the OLED-Keys 42 CONTROLS® offers different input modules like Rotary Encoders, professional two- and three- axis Joysticks, Thumbwheels and a T-Bar. These modules are freely arrangeable by the customer. Due to this perfect adaptation and the intuitive control concept we achieve a unique and easy handling.
The current Firmware comes with libraries for the Vista Spyder Video Processor, the Picturall Octo Media Server, TV One products, as well as Matrix Routers by Lightware and Extron.

On the Roadmap are libraries for Analog Way, RGB Spectrum, Autopatch, BVW75, Odetics, and so on.
But you don´t have to wait until a specific protocol is integrated:
The Firmware 2.0 offers the possibilty to make your own libraries, protocols and scripts. 42 CONTROLS® is using Python for the integration of User-Space APIs. Python is an extremly easy learnable program language. You can find literature in many languages and you can work with free libraries, so you can configure interactive Elements, like Encoders, LCD Keys and more. You can easily create complex showscripts, programs and self-made libraries which could send e-mail notifications or do SNMP monitoring.
